I joined up a few weeks ago, after stumbling onto the forum by accident. Original introduction thread here.
I had to be a bit discreet at that time, otherwise the forum mods would have beaten me up for advertising. 🙂 However, we are now official forum sponsors, so I can be a bit more open. 🙂
The company is Williams & Co, and we are a trade-only independent merchant in the South East, with 24 branches in Hampshire, Kent, Surrey, Sussex and Berkshire. You can check out our website here
Our trade-only policy means that I won't discuss product trade prices on the forum, where anyone can see them. You can access our online catalogue "Pricebusters" via our site, but you will have to PM me for a password to see it. Plumbers Arms members, Mods and TAs will get the password automatically on request - other members please include enough in your PM to convince me that you are trade. :innocent:
We are working on getting a fullscale ecommerce site set up with automated trade validation and nationwide delivery but until that happens, won't have a Williams & Co banner on the site, and I am afraid that we can only help trade customers within range of our bricks and mortar branches. (Unless you want shedloads of gear and its worth shipping on a pallet!)
You may have noticed a new banner - for Certifi Training Ltd. This is a training company in which we own a 50% stake. We will be promoting that business for a while until our ecommerce systems are up and running, so watch out for our offers. However, our courses are only for existing tradesmen - we don't do fast-track courses, and we can't make you a plumber in 2, 4, 6 or even 15 weeks. Sorry.
