No hot water only luke warm?

Hi all, I have recently replaced 3 way valve, bled all rads and pushed water into the system from outside the house to clear any air locks, waited until the water came out of the header tank overflow before swicthing water off. All rads work fine, boiler works fine, pipe that enters the hot water cylinder is hot however all others exiting the cyclinder are cold or just luke warm! Cyclinder is only 9 years old, emersion works and that is how I am getting by at the moment. Thoughts please as not sure what to do next?

Is there a gate valve on the return from the coil?

did you manually open 3 way valve before filling?

drain down, fill up again, start with pump on hot water only, then push air out of central heating.

Hi Guys, thank you for your ideas. I don't know what a gate valve is? the hot water pipe entering the cylinder has a bleed valve and the pipe at the bottom of the cylinder has a drain off valve. How do you get air out of the coil? because pushing water up through the system has not worked or do I need to drain system down and start again?
