Hi all, is there no control for these on hot water, except for the boiler stat?
Does a permanent pilot just keep heating the hot water permanently?
Any wiring links for these old systems?

Think of of like a flow diagram.

power comes fom fused spur.
Power goes to clock.
clock switches on-- power goes to room stat and to boiler.
if boiler stat calls for heat, the boiler fires. ( you then get gravity hot water)
if room stat calls for heat the pump starts. (You then get gravity hot water and pumped heating)

I'm wasted being a plumber. I shoulda stuck in at the school and been a teacher
Nah - you're better off doing this. I should know, I was a secondary school teacher for 13 years and it made me ill in the end. I decided to go back to what I know (Knew) and so far it might be all learning and feeling a bit odd but its way, way better than being a full time teacher 🙂
