I have a used small flat plate heat exchanger. It has one inch male British pipe threads. I need to find a converter to american threads. I hope i am making this clear.

This problem often arises when trying to bojangle AF automotive fittings to BSP plumbing fittings or visa versa,

In this instance you will probably have to cut your own threads,

All part of the delights being a plumber.

PS dont forget BSP thread can be parallel or tapered,
Tapered is used when the female part of the connection is strong enough to resist the
potential bursting forces of a male taper,

Parallel BSP is generally used on aluminium and brass female connections and if you introduce a BSP male tapered thread into a parallel female thread you will probably
break the female part before a seal is achieved.
