I need to remove a short section of pipe between two rads on the ground floor.
Will this work?
Close off all rads (14) (I have decorator caps), drain down remaining water, carry out repair and refill with internal filling loop.
It's a Worcester Combi boiler about 7 years old, regularly serviced.
Many thanks

1. Should be OK provided the valves on all the radiators actually stop all water flow. Presumably you are doing it this way to save adding new inhibitor.
2. If you are going to be doing any soldering, the slightest trace of water in the pipes will stop you. In this case probably better to drain down completely.
