pipe cracking - 2nd edition!!!

Hi All

I have just had the floorboards up on my mum slanding where there seemns to be pipes creaking etc.

The problem only happens when the hot water is turned on an dcreaks about 5 times, the pipes are laid pretty close together an dhave no clips whatsoever.

The last chap that looked I have just found out that has tied a piece ot towel around 2 pipes in the airing cupboard and charged my mum £200! I'll be speak to him about that.

Any suggestions, I cannot locate the creak but think it is just outside teh airing cupboard.

That was what another chap quoted - £2k to sort it out.

Just found out today that mum paid another chap £200 top fix it an dhe wrapped a piece of old towell around 2 pipes in the airing cupboard.

Must be offering his services to sort out the plumber who charged £200 for a bit of old towel lol
