I have used these. They are ok. But you are plugging the hole, not sealing it. Also a small bag of sand and cement is about the same price but can be used on more jobs. Do not know how it is cheaper? I would however use them again.

Thanks for the feedback. It does seal the hole, the flexible flanges form an air and water tight seal. Its interesting feedback, do you think it would be cheaper based on the time mortar takes versus 5 secs for a pipesnug ? Pleased you would use again. Feedback very welcome. Thanks

I just got a couple for free due to orders and found them great too though. I guess it is easier to get hold of the sand / cement stuff than the snugs. I would not drive 6 miles just for a pipe snug. In my opinion these are looking a lot better and neater than sand and cement but as @Harvest Fields has mentioned is it really cheaper surely not when you have to drive for them that far. It is definitely a good solution for heights and quick to install.

Perhaps I have to get a couple to van stock them

1 x bag of sand and cement pre mix £5.00 and will do about 30 11/2” condense holes. 1 x pipesnig £5.00 each x 30 = £150.00? In my own personal opinion of course.
