Recently I ordered a Viessmann 35 storage combi boiler. The advertised boiler on PlumbNation says 1-3 days delivery - I waited a week. When it eventually arrived, it had the safety valve missing.

After contacting them on several days, they seemed to have no idea what a safety valve was and tried to assure me it was inside the boiler! I decided to buy one from a different shop as the costumer needed heating and hot water. I contacted them again yesterday requesting a refund for the safety valve to which they refused and offered to deliver me one in a few days!

They seem to be happier to lose my custom than rectify their mistake they've made. Am I wrong to ask for a refund?
 
No defo not,,, when we purchase something its got to be in one piece, bit if the safety valves missing then it mustve came out the factory like that so plumbnation or yourself would have to contact viessman,,,
 
I contacted the Viessmann and to be honest they were willing to deliver one next week but costumer needed heating. The safety valve come separately from the boiler box , it was plumb nation who lost the item when they delivered.
 
best stick to local merchants for boilers imo, even tho your plumbnation one prob came from a city,pts or travis branch near you.

i used to buy boilers from online store but find problems are a pain to solve so i stick to locals and if theres a problem i can slap the person face to face if needed.

You make a complaint, and he bends over backwards to recdtify it. I will never buy a boiler from an internet seller, regardless of how ''cheap'' it is
 
I ordered some vaillant black flue terminals. Only place I could find them was plumbnation. Ordered them and......
A week later a plumb Center van dropped them off.

quite oddly, I asked plumb Center if they stocked them. They didn't ??:32:
