Poor standerd of driveing

Don't know what your local roads are like but where I am its mainly twisting country roads and narrow lanes with lots of Double white lines, I'M finding more and more that mainly young drivers like to overtake on these roads , blind bends/tractors, caravans and you cant see what's coming due to the high hedge's , now whether they just don't know what the lines on the road mean or they just don't care about other road users , I'm getting fed up with having swive to miss these idiots ad some narrow misses over the last few weeks sees to be getting worse

I think the drivers that ignore solid white lines on the road or overtake on bends and also undertake you just to get in front of you should be heavily fined and points on their licence, rather than getting the motorist doing a few miles over the limit on a safe road.
Am going to get a dash cam because it is only a matter of time before it pays for itself.
So many choices in them though, - degress of vision (140 degrees etc), better night vision, or some come in an all in one sat nav/ dash cam.

Yes understand the advantage of a dash cam, But would Police do anything about these Knobs who think its ok to overtake you on Double white lines, or like a lot of other things they wouldn't bother!!

Personally I don`t like things that multi task, prefer to keep it simple then when one thing breaks down I still have the others working. Bit like combined washer dryers if you see what I mean.

If you presented plod with the evidence I think the most they would do is send a warning letter to the car owners address.

Plod should also send a copy to the insurance company. They wouldnt miss a trick in upping somebodies premiums.
