hi guys,

As above I had this boiler today and couldn’t get that to fire.
The customer got new gas pipes 28mm don’t know why that big but alright.

E133 gas valve opens and drops to 17,5 mbar, Fan is running, pump is running, everything epseems perfect till the ignition,. I took the sparks out checked them all good igniting too.

The boiler will only fire a little when I blow down the silicone hose to the gas valve ...

Any idea ?

I could apimagine a blocked gas valve due to debris .. or fan.

Water or some sort of restriction connect your manometer tube to each point and try blowing down it.

Of you may have a faulty gas valve.

I did try everything but could not get that to fire. I even cleaned the Venturi from the fan which was dirty but didn’t make a big change.

You can call them for diagnosis.

Setting up the gas valve i usually call Worcester say I’m working on a 24i junior please can you give me the instructions how to reset the sigma gas valve.

It will give you a ball part setting then you’ve got to set it to 8.7 max 8.4 min -+0.2%

You think I should be first calling them?

I've had this on the same boiler and it was that the ignition probes had warped and bent away from the burner, so they'll still be sparking but just nowhere near the burner.
