They've decided to have a new boiler so I'll be fitting it soon 🙂

you need to check the jumper is in 3 and 4 , if they are within those positions you need to change the pcb also it can be caused by the fan blowing the pcb so check the fan resistance

Checked the voltage on that and (can't remember exactly what it was but it was wrong - less than 100v DC)

sorry missed that the first time — you need anything over 150v dc between blue and brown on gas valve so with what you have you definitely need a new PCB as i said before . these boilers are good money earners 😉

Thanks for all the answers but I've managed to persuade them to have a new boiler fitted, which I'm doing on Thursday 🙂
