Pottorton Profile 60e not staying on

Hi All,

Trying to resolve a problem on a Potterton profile 60e. It is firing up for about a minute then keeps shutting down. I am thinking is it the gas valve not staying open? Any other suggestions?

check you've got good circulation. sounds like boiler is getting up to temp and shutting off. could be blockage of pump failure?

Get your multimeter out. Does the gas valve still have voltage when it goes off? Does the fan stay on? etc etc?

Hi,
Checked various components. Turned out to be a fault PCB board. Replace and all working for now! Have advised for a newer efficient boiler.
