Hi all,
A lot of you have seen me on here I know. Long story short, my wife has got a great promotion with her job which is going to require me to move away from Hampshire. In short, I'm looking to find (ideally) a plumber who would be happy to move to Hampshire and take over my business. Ideally this would be on a franchise basis with no up-front fees, but I would be happy to look at selling the business as it is. Once I do this, I will be moving to Lincoln to hopefully start up the same again!
The business is in its 3rd year of trading and has a good local reputation. At the time of writing turnover this financial year (since 1st April 2011) is £36,195 with a gross profit of £17,998 and a net profit plus salary paid to myself of £13,714. Previous years financials have all been submitted to Companies house and so are in full view of the public.
Across the 4.5 months to date this equates to earnings before tax of £3,047 per month so I hope you can see its quite a good opportunity.
All of these figures are despite buying a large new van. There are lots of jobs booked moving on too.
As I say, I think it's franchisable as the main source of new customers (after word of mouth) is my website. If you google Fareham plumber, Whiteley plumber or Locks Heath plumber it consistently comes up number 1 or 2. All good local searches.
The new van is on a HP agreement, I would be happy to come to an arrangement where I keep the van and/or tools if this helps sway people.
If anyone is interested in this opportunity then please let me know. If someone is wanting to take this on on a franchise basis then obviously we will need to meet up to make sure we are both right for each other first!!
Cheers for reading,
Keiran.
