Hi, thanks for taking a look at my post. I'm currently having a house built.The drain pipes for my house have been laid and the slab will be poured on Saturday. The sweeping 90 that joins the 4 inch waste pipe below ground doesn't seem to be fully seated. When I stick my hand in I can feel a 3 to 4 mm gap between the end of the pvc pipe and the inside seat of the 90 bend. The house maker told me that this is not a problem. I would really appreciate a second opinion. I'm sure it wouldn't be a problems with the bath or lav drain, but the toilet has a 5 meter horizontal run....I really don't want any problems once the slab is poured.

:confused5::confused5::confused5:

3 to 4 mm shouldn't be a problem this can happen if the pipe isn't cut square but the seal on the bend is at the frount of the socket

Another one in the don't worry camp. The sockets are several 10s of mm deep. A little gap may even be an advantage in terms of expansion.
