Ive just been out to a gas leak and found the gas isolation valve on the boiler was leaking. Which I have capped (an old potterton suprima 40L). I noticed the outer flue was sealed with insulation tape quite badly. So I looked through the odd bit of paperwork on top of the boiler to find that BG condemned it in July this year due to the flue spilling and a local gas engineer had rectified the spillage recorded on the warning notice issued with insulation tape. I checked his details new engineer recently new registration. There has been a new cupboard fitted some time ago so that the controls cover will not fit so it is on to of the new cupboard hence there are exposed live terminals. Your views please
