Hi

Grateful for some advice/assistance

I am looking to replace a 1980's steel radiator in my lounge
Its current size is H :500 W: 2400

The room sizing is H: 244cm W:375cm L:541m
2 of the walls are "external walls" (cavity insulated)
The windows are double glazed (installed 2 years ago)
The room in North Facing
Normally we like this to be the warmest room in the house

What sizing / type of compact radiator should I be looking at for a room of this size
Keen to keep the Width of the rad as near to the 2400cm as possible in order to avoid to much pipe change.

Any advice appreciated

You need about 9000 btu. A 450x2400p+, is 500btu under and a 600x2400 p+ Is 2000 over.
If you have space for the 600 high rad, I would go for that. P + is a double radiator with one set of convectors.
if your stuck for height, fit a 459 high k2( double panel with double convectors) .

I wouldn't wanna be the one lifting that on to the wall! Sounds abit on the big side that.
