hi,does anyone know how to correctly size up radiators,my two rads i have in my living room are single covectors 300mmwidth by 1800mm in length but are not man enough to heat the room,so i was thinking off puting some bigger kw rads in,ie double convectors,i tried to work it out from the jtl level 3 plumbing book which gives you an example of a bungaloww with one bedroom, what i did i included the three bedrooms i have as invluded in the heat loss but ended up with an enourmous amount of watts, thanks anyone, ajoint.

I've been playing with the Stelrad Stars online rad app. Quite details but it seems good.

For ease of fitting change the rad for one the same length of the one already in for a double panel double convector, ok it might be slightly larger than required but no damage to flooring or walls and can be turned down at TRV
