Hi Everyone,
Hope you can help.
I have a Santon Premier Plus System Fit. It was great until late last year when one of the expansion vessels fell off the wall because it filled up with water. The plumber came round and said he pressurised the vessel again and fixed it back on the wall (could not say why this happened though). Ever since it has been doing the following:
The pressure gauge on the system hangs just below 1bar when the boiler is not on. once the CH comes on this goes to 3bar.
The boiler does not always kick in when the timer says so ie its set for 6:30am at 23c and it doesn't come on. Only when I turn the temp up to 26c will it start.
Before the vessel incident, we did not have to have the temperature up so high to heat the house. 22c would have been plenty warm enough for us but now we have been wacking it up 24-26c and we still feel a bit cold.
The plumber came again today and said that the pressure was too high. When he left he said it should all be ok now. I went upstairs to check when he'd gone and the pressure gauge was at 0 bar?? It did rise to just under 1 bar when the boiler came on.
We have a Danfoss TP9000 in the airing cupboard with the Santon and a remote sensor in the downstairs hall.
Let me know if you need any more info to help me.
I hope you can help with some advice.
Regards
Dave
