In 10 and a half years being self employed it's only the third time. First one paid after myself and a couple of mates collared him. Second one was my fault, invoiced late and he said he wasn't happy, but it was a pot inset sink and he ordered the wrong bits so he paid and then this one.
Also had a one where I threatened to remove some copper pipe he hadn't paid for. It was in a garage with no door on and it just happened to be attached to the incoming main. He paid next morning.

I have a zero tolerance, but with having such a good run I've maybe become a little complacent.

How long do you guys wait before you decide enough is enough lets start getting serious on chasing the money?

I don't mean that , i mean when you put payment terms within 24 hours and 48 hours its all silent no payment .

You can set up a dropbox free online and have the photos upload automatically so it takes little management. It doesn't answer your problems but its a useful tool
