Hi Stan

We don't attempt to police GSR status, we are only interested in whether someone is trade or retail. GSR is a good indicator of trade, but not the only one.

Having said that, if any of our staff refused to sell something on the grounds that they thought the customer was going to do something dangerous, I would back them up.

I've been looking at courses, Langley College and also Wycombe. I'll have a chat with them next week to see what I need and what they'll do do me. I think I def want to do it. I keep getting asked to do gas certs for landlords as I know loads of letting agents who want to help me but alas I can't at the moment!

Ideally you need to work with some one for MIN 1 year to become fully understanding with gas and heating and then start on your own !

I agree Stan. I might write to some GSR people to see if they want a free goffar. I'd sacrifice the money to get experience. It's very hard to find someone. I'm really looking to do this soon.
