SNVQ/ NVQ Achievment worries

can someone tell me if it is true that SNVQ or NVQ are not recognised in scotland
i am a bit worried as i have paid for this in my package and i am now hearing rumours to this effect.
i am on my second workshop and i cant get any answers from my tutor
all help most appreciated 😕

nvq's are in england, wales, n ireland in scotland its known as a snvq.
both the same qualification.

As I've been told NVQ stands for Not Very Qualified, 😱 but don't think of it like that, just think of what it teaches you do!
