Hello all, I've been asked by a customer to rectify a problem with their toilets upstairs which are either side of a stack. When they are flushed it travels up the opposite toilet.they called a drainage company out to unblock the soil stack and also the company noticed the Connection between the two toilets was incorrect/or not the best setup. The company recommended either the ridding eye be replaced by a 45 erg single socket or 90deg rodding cap. I can't see how this would resolve the problem.
Here is a pic .
Many thanks in advance

I stand to be corrected, but you can't use double junctions on grade.
You can only use them vertical.

As for the rectifications required on that setup?
An awful lot -

Unless you can get a double junction with 45 degree take offs and a couple of 45 degree bends and connect onto the existing drains.
At least that way the effluent will be directed down the drain from the junction and 45 degree bend than up the opposite drain

If i was you i would use a splayed sewer branch then come off outlets with 45 degree bends you will probley need a couple of slip collors to join up sewer and make hole biger to take splayed branch and use 30 and 15 to connect to splayed branch
