Sort out/tidy up time

Picked up the beast from the garage following the MOT and service this morning so it's now time to chuck everything out of the hire van back in. Before I do that it's time for a bit of a sort out. The front tool section works really well but it's time to admit that the lin bins and racking has been a bit of a dead loss. Every time I hit a bump stuff bounces out of the bins into other bins or onto the floor and I struggle to find stuff. They're coming off today as I've just invested in another half dozen Stanley Fatmax storage cases and a plastic 4 drawer storage thingy. Waste fittings and larger stuff will go in the plastic draws and everything else will go in the boxes.

With the rain we've had it's got that bad that half the fittings I've bought are still in the plastic bags I bought them in.

If I'm not back in a few hours send in a search party.

Sorting out the van is my most hated job, I always let it get in a right mess and then it takes about 4 hours to get it looking even half respectable. When I am busy I never put stuff back in the right place, and just have all the stuff I buy in various bags scattered around the van.

That's what mine had got like. Then I can't find a fitting and have to go out and get more despite knowing I've got some. I'm 75% there now, just got to transfer the stuff over from the hire van.

Due to a complete re organisation mines taken about 5 hours so far. About an hour in the morning should see it complete.

I've gave me a good sort out recently, some of the stuff I've had I didn't even know. Parts for all kinds, all sorted now an staying like for the foreseeable future.
