Hi all,

i went over to my mothers to look at her suprima 70L

It used to lock out occasionally and i tracket it down to a pcb fault (99% sure)

Now as soon as you turn it on it locks out, green light never comes on and the red light flashes....

APS tested ok
Flow meter works and tested
Pump runs
No voltage to fan
No voltage to much else!

Im thinking pcb what do you guys think before i tell the old dear to get a new board for me to fit....

Scott

Hi Scott, the boards for the suprima are double expensive! May pay to stear your mum towards service cover repair with the big boys if it's the pcb!

as much as i like baxi/potterton i feel the suprima pcb should be mega cheap to compensate for it being so crap, its the same story with baxi Bahamas flow switches last one i bought was 27 quid ,theses switches on this boiler were always a problem so why sting people when they fail the simple answer because they know it will

I thought the PCB's for these were £200ish, Abcottuk are selling them for £95+VAT .... I take back steering towards the big boys 'smillsey'

well ive ohms checked the oh stat , fast fuse is fine as i did them both when i first got to the boiler.

It had an intermittent problem anyway so a new board i feel is needed as ive checked every bloody sensor.

thanks all
