I have a traditional British bathroom sink with 2 separate taps for cold and hot water. I need a bridge mixer tap for it. The problem is I only seem to find ones with 180mm tap connection centres, while mine needs 200mm. IS there hope?

From the floor, waste goes to wall.Where does the pipework come from for the sink ? In the wall or from the floor
Adjust what? I do not understand...You should be able to adjust them easy enough
This is a kitchen bridge. If I put this in my bathroom basin, it will suit well for mopping perhaps, but not for handwashing XD1. Presumably it is the centres of the tap holes in the basin which are 200 mm apart, so no adjustment possible.
2. You might be able to find a bridge mixer for it, but it will be one with adjustable "legs" up to the body of the tap.
3. Something like Danbury Lever Bridge Sink Mixer | Traditional Kitchen Taps - https://www.victorianplumbing.co.uk/danbury-lever-bridge-kitchen-sink-mixer?campaign=googlebase&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIvYaF0KCS7wIVCp7tCh2BVAV_EAQYBCABEgLJxPD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds ? (Not an endorsement, just an illustration!)
It's most likely because you used the work 'sink'. As my mother always drummed into me, it's a 'washbasin'. For most of the world, it's a bathroom sink, but we plumbers are so used to the tecnical term, we probably forget that. This is a kitchen bridge. If I put this in my bathroom basin, it will suit well for mopping perhaps, but not for handwashing XD
Haha, you take my mixer tap, I'll take your pizza 😉Out of interest, what makes you want to keep the old washbasin but then fit a mixer? I'm of the inclination that an old British basin would look best with traditional separate taps, not these fancy continental mixers. Probably, though, it's because I don't really like mixer taps myself.
In fact, now Brexit's happened, haven't mixers been made illegal? 😉
Ha I'm in Italy now. You'll have to threaten my Ceylon OP tea, not my pizza 😉Haha, you take my mixer tap, I'll take your pizza 😉
