see the 'olivepulloff' tool on eBay or YouTube. One tool for 10,15 & 22mmAh!!
Yeah, it would be handy....
10mm olives are a git to get off, as the soft copper means it's often on there forever!!
If you make a tool that can do them all, put me down for one.

I was happy for a second then saw it. Looks a right pain to use. Olive puller Olivepulloff plumbing tool | eBay
I wouldn't even attempt to pull or cut off an olive on minibore.
The last little tool I had I fired him for being a useless little git.You can get a little tool that scores a groove in the chrome so the grab ring bites.
Stick this on the telly in the room tonight when you go to bedFire that doesn't burn.
Saw this X-Hose on a shopping channel this morning and thought it was pretty good how it expands and shrinks. It'd certainly save some room in the van.
That's a very good point.Probably not work on low pressure as a drain down hose particularly well either. Seeing it contract about ten foot in the video under mains pressure with the sprinkler on I can see it contracting back to it's original length whilst draining down. Can you imagine the scene as the hose contracts back into the hallway and pours black water all over Mrs Jones new cream shag pile.
Thought of a few today,
1. A tool to tell us where to drill through a joist so that it is straight
2. A clip that holds pipe up while soldering
3. A tool to stop movement on pipes whilst soldering
4. a tool to push pipes so that they dont pull out when soldering
5. some way of cleaning pipes when you take them apart so when you put a different fitting on it is easy to put back on.
6. an app with all the most important regulations on it, cutting joists etc
7. a toolbox that tells you when you are out of flux, glue, solder, wire wool etc
8. a gas bottle that tells you when you are down to 1/4 full
2+3. Improvise, use tools, offcuts of pipe etc to make wedges to hold pipes in position when you solder.Thought of a few today,

Like a said experience is need it2+3. Improvise, use tools, offcuts of pipe etc to make wedges to hold pipes in position when you solder.
4. Assemble the pipe and fitting, then pinch it slightly with a pair of grips, that will hold it in place and stop it falling out.
7. Keep two of everything and replace as soon as you are down to one.
8. You get a feel for how much is left by the weight of the bottle and also see no.7!
This is the best drain down hose you can get.
How is it any better than my hose lock anti kink hose?
You can f**k off! I'd have thought you'd want people to forget "that thread"!!A £6 ck screwdriver set.

Its very flexible, you can literally throw it out of the front door and it'll lay flat. The rubber grips on really well to all size mt plugs. Winds up really easily and fits in a normal rubble bag for storage, oh and it's great for syphinng cylinders when the mt plugs cream crackered.
I've got one of these orange hoses your all talking about and its well worth the money.
For the hassle it saves me its paid for itself many time in my opinion. It never kinks and makes a great connection on to a drain point.
Keep an eye out in parts centre though, because I never paid full price for mine, I got mine half price on offer 🙂
How much Is half price, 30 quid? How many metres
This does the same iob and is much cheaper

Really hey tamz. I like the price. Is It quite flexible then?
Sad person 🙂Mines a ten metre length and it was about 30 quid all in I think. I bought it years ago. One of the best things I've bought if I'm honest.
does it expand at the end like normal hoses? mine always gets wider and needs an inch chopping off it.
I have seen them many times but dont like the colour

I wish God would get his thermostat fixed and turn the heating back on. We're running out of sheep.
