Hello I’m trying to find a replacement flush button but although the thread looks like a siamp I don’t think it is. I found what I thought was the correct button but it didn’t have a strike bar which should fit in a rectangle hole in the centre of the top thread. I’m wondering if that bit was lost and I now need to replace the whole thing?
It has a 1/4 replaceable top but I don’t want to play around with it as the stopcock has seized up and its in a flat. If I could just replace the button to help the customer out who wants it resolved in advance of selling.
I assume that these types of flush are universal in terms of the bayonet top in case I’m left with no option but to replace the whole thing.
