100 mm pipe slice would foot the bill
Yep use my m18 all day long. Use a flue clamp as a guide and to keep u square. I wouldn't use a mains one they are like a jumping jack
I bought a 18v makita band saw for this its brill,
Makita UK - BPB180Z - 18V LXT PORTABLE BAND SAW
Its not cheap but its worth having in the van, as handy for many other jobs,

You're all worrying about the wrong tool.
Its not what you cut it with.
Its what you measure it with. 🙂
I have never heard anyone on our trade counter complaining how long it took to cut a flue, but I've heard hundreds moaning that their mate/the apprentice cut it too short.
And the rothenberger 2in waste pipe slice cuts the inner plastic flue perfectly with no bits to file/cut off
