Got a customer who rang me today saying that the have rumbling underfloor heating.

Not been over as yet but quick chat on phone they say that its unvented system by sounds of it .Hot water works fine and the rads they have work fine. However when they use underfloor heating it rumbles and last couple weeks its got worse.

Its a new build house appox 3 years old , any ideas?

Also aav's if there's any on there, some people see a loose cap and tighten it

Rule number one never listen to the customer. I serviced a boiler last Friday and called back today on my way home as it was something I had done was making a noise defiantly.

The old lady had stuffed all the the coats and cardigans back into the cupboard were the boiler was and there was a coat hanger dangling of the front of the boiler rattling its head off

I had a call panicking that the boiler kept making a horrible noise and worried that boiler was going to blow up. I had kitchen work top off and unit out to access boiler, all checked out ok. Then she said "there it is again over there". It was her mobile phone in handbag that she had not heard ring before. :mad2:
I would have charged her but its my mum!! god help me..

Oh and check pump first
