Hi all,
I'm installing a new gully trap for grey water (sinks, dishwasher, washing machine, etc) but I don't have much of a fall to work with. I was looking at the lowback P-traps:
I'm hoping that using this instead of a standard gully trap will give me a bit more of a fall due to the slightly higher outlet relative to the normal gully trap. I understand these variations are not roddable so I'm also installing an AJ at the turn down the line. However, according to the likes of ChatGPT these lowback P traps should only be used with rain/surface water and are not recommended for grey water. Apart from ChatGPT, I can't find a real source to back this up so was hoping someone with some real-world experience could help point me to a reliable source or information based on personal experience using these lowback p traps for grey water.
Thanks in advance for your input.
