Hello

We have the above - Vaillant ecoTEC plus 637 boiler. Over a week ago pump inside the boiler broke down, and ''a specialist'' installed a new one. As soon as he left, we discovered that not only water but also central heating was on. Then I made sure all the switches were in ''off'' position, it changed nothing, the boiler was still producing heat for central heating purposes. We also made sure thermostats are in ''zero mode'', without desired effect. Yesterday a friend of mine told us, that there is a kind of valve inside which separates water from central heating that could be damaged and it is causing the problem. Is this the issue?

Thank you for your help.

get your specialist back to look or call another who is vaillant approved as there are far to many buttons to push that could upset the settings or as mentioned you have another issue. apart fm that have peek on the forum banner re advice to non engineers, as you wont get much mire help on here than my initial comment I'm afraid,
