fitted a vaillant eco tec pro about 3 years ago flushedthesystem when intalled got a call last night intermittent f75 after customer drained to fit new bathroom rad . going this wk to test the common faults for this / ex vessel /press sw /pump but sure on this age of boiler press sw was at top

was pressure switch - boiler was constantly reading 2.7 bar even when pressure released - no dirt in switch .boiler under warranty so vaillant called to change it. and this is the boiler with the revised press switch and repositioned in the new position I thought they cured this

The switches are still a bit dodgy sometimes.

what more can you do flushed on instal and spyrotech fitted .

Doesnt matter where the switch is there crap. had to swap loads on our installs old and new. also be prepared for the famous dripping diverter. they redesigned it and guess what.!!..thieve gone for a plastic version now that looks the same probably to save cash on service calls not cos there better.

Ps doesnt matter about flushing they choke even on brand spankin new installs..
