Hi,
I'm new to the forum, but was hoping someone could help with an issue I've encountered with my Linea 28 boiler. I was draining the system as I needed to move a few rads, I went upstairs to the boiler and realised that I had left it on hot water only, rather than having it switched off, there was a clicking noise coming from the boiler. I switched the boiler off completely and drained the entire system, I then connected up the bathroom radiator back to the system and an expansion vessel, so that I could put the boiler back on as I still needed to use it for hot water only. However when I refilled the system with the one radiator and tried to fire the boiler I was getting 07 and sometimes 02 fault codes. Once it did light up showing a high temperature and then slowly this dropped down from about 90degrees to about 67, I reset the boiler and it fired but only ran a few seconds before locking out again. Now all I have is an 07 fault code, which won't clear.
My thoughts are that maybe there was air in the system causing the thermistor and high temperature issues, but not sure how to cure this - can anyone provide any direction, as missus isn't to happy about the lack of hot water!
Ps my system already had an external expansion vessel fitted, I assume that the internal one must have been faulty some time ago.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
