Hello Everyone,

Here is my issue, my boiler won't start unless I hit (gently) the protective cover.

Thinking it was just some lose connections I removed the cover and accessed the 2 PCB (the main one, and the smaller one carrying relay and capacitor).

You can remove this little PCB from its slot, and when I tap it gently on the side the boiler will start. the part number is 20076436.

I can change this part easily, but my question is, what part would cause this kind of issue ? the Relay or the capacitor or maybe something else, and is it normal for those part to fail ? Boiler was installed 5 years ago.

Just trying to understand as it's bugging me now !

I already check all the connection coming from and two this PCB and there are fine btw.

Thanks for your time.

Removing the cover forms part of the combustion circuit and critical safety checks should be carried out afterwards. Replacing parts on a whim can be more costly than employing a suitably qualified engineer. It could be a loose connection or something else.

Yes problem fixed. No way for me to test the 2 capacitors from small pub board so changed both and working perfectly since.
