My toilet is attached to the wall by sealant, with the cistern within the wall. The flush is a push button that is on the wall. When i've flushed the toilet the button pushed right through and has has disappeared down into the wall! I cant feel it when i poke my fingers through. Like i say the toilet is attached to the wall with sealant so i would have to remove the sealant then the toilet to even start to see if i can fix it, then reseal the toilet after. Im not even sure what i will be faced with behing the wall. Is this a job i could do myself using internet tips/videos etc?

Hello LMill, welcome to the Forum.
If you have the right tools, then you can use U-Tube videos, otherwise, I will advice that you get a professional in to look at the job. It's unlikely the toilet pan is only attached to the wall by sealant.

With a concealed cistern there should be an access panel of some sort. It might even be from the other side of the wall, in another room. It shouldn't be necessary to remove the WC, unless the original installer was a tad thoughtless.

thats if a builder didnt install it!!!!!!!!

Usually either there will be a shelf on top that is only stuck on with mastic or caulk
Or the front panel from just above the toilet will come off,

By the sounds of it either the retaining nut has snapped or it was never fitted correctly but should be a easy fix, if you can get access without removing the toilet if not call a plumber
