Hi all,

I just found the red pump (attached photos) is very hot, is this all right? Or something wrong?

The radiators are very hot, the red pump which is workman 25-60 hot/cold water circulation pump is very hot too.

My system is unvented cylinder+heat only boiler.

Is this normal that the red pump be so hot (cannot touch it) ?

Thank you in advance for any advice!

Turn the boiler temperature setting down to a lower temperature and see if the pump lowers temperature.

Pumps can get very hot if there is no circulation.
You said the rads were very hot, so it may be the boiler temperature setting

Thank you for your reply!

"boiler temperature setting"---you mean the first attached photo? To turn the setting to from Max to Min direction to lower the temperature?
The second is for house radiator temperature, so you didn't mean this one, right?

Yes, the rads are very hot, similar to the red pump and pipes around.

Thank you again for your advice!
