The best way to weigh down the bath before you seal round the bath to the tile, is to half fill the bath with water, wait until the sealant has dried then empty the bath. Use a decent quality sealant, job done.I have a bath to silicone that I can fill with water before I silicone. Can I put some some weights or something in the bath to mimic the weight of a bath full of water. Anyone had to do this before?
Thanks I need to silicone before I cut the taps really. Unless I fill before I swap I also need to swap the waste on this visitTbh I wouldn’t as the risk of damage is high you could try bags of sand

You can weight it down, but make sure whatever you put in the bath will not damage it, eg: sand bags or other heavy but soft items, baths can easily scratch, so if you have to use heavy hard items, then put a large dust sheet or similar inside first to protect the bath. Was thinking maybe pillows then some weights on top of those if I need toYou can weight it down, but make sure whatever you put in the bath will not damage it, eg: sand bags or other heavy but soft items, baths can easily scratch, so if you have to use heavy hard items, then put a large dust sheet or similar inside first to protect the bath.
