Hi all, if anyone can point me in the right direction for a boiler for a 1 bed ground floor flat, it would be most appreciated, it seems that a 24kw is s bit much, is there a smaller kW boiler that might be cheaper?
thanks in advance!
(serves only 5 rads.)

You can get some models in 18kw. Just ensure your choice satisfies your hot water demands regarding flow rates for mixer showers etc.

As phil says its down to the flowrate through your tap, not the actual heating load, personally I would go around the 24kw size.

If your looking at reasonable cost, the Ideal 24 I Mini is a fair priced boiler.

I've been quoted for ideal independent 24, or for a £100 less a glow worm easicom 24, should I stick with ideal?

The easicom has a 3yr gtee and the indy a 2 year.

Im sure they would both be fine if installed well. but do ensure your existing system is cleaned prior to installation or that lovely A+ rating will soon drop down to a D.

Depends on hot water usage, if your going to be filling a bath look at a 30Kw but one that they can reduce the heating demand on, & not a great difference in price and greater length of warranty
