I have a insurance job to try and rescue a poorly installed quad shower the customer wants to save the tiling if possible and has a few spare so fingers crossed it may work , the loss adjuster allowed em £1500 that will just about cover materials. Kop

Boiler works well rated to 10kw
Rads take ages to heat and I wouldn’t say they were hot enough but the customer was happy.
Needs a repipe really but she didn’t want to spend the money.

just for us dumb ones. Can I ask why you have a wilo pump if it is a combi? Is it for the extra plate?

Hydraulic seperation H the wilo pump is on the secondary circuit open vent at a guess on the single pipe heating loop, the pump in the combi is used as the primary pump passing the set heating load through the plate heat exchanger which is a sealed system. Regards Kop

I have a square type kitchen sink tap and cannot access the cartridge to replace it as it is housed in a round chrome kind of case that does not allow a shifting spanner to grab it . There seems no way to move the chrome caseing part to remove it I can send a pic if ok I am new on here.
