Led was on as usual, however it wasnt heating

On the receiver, is there a link between L (RH of the pair) and COM (middle of the three)?

Yes, you definitely need this. Just use a bit of brown 5A lighting wire.

This is important: You must move the wire currently connected to the L terminal to the COM terminal.

The reason your boiler is not working is that it needs 230V from the ON terminal and you only get this if you link L to COM.

Did you buy the programmer second-hand from Ebay?

I have bought it on the ebay, but it is brand new.

I will sort it out tomorrow, as its bit late, i have fitted back the old one for tonight, will keep you informed about the results.

Got it delayed due to busy time at work

Im at the stage where im making the bridge from com to l terminal on the device
My instalation wiring has single wires, can i use different wire for the bridge (picture below)

Don't make things more complicated than it needs to be; it's just a bit of wire joining two terminals! How you do this is up to you.

I only suggested using brown as this indicates that it is live, your pic shows blue which indicates neutral.
