Had a blocked plate to plate, not bad getting it out - didn't remove the hydroblock, removed the cold main pipe and undone the 2 screws and let the plate drop.

New washes, re-filled and it leaked.

Took out re-fitted at least 3 times, still the same.

Apparently, if there has been any over heating the hydroblock can become more or less distored and the plate to plate isn't going to sit right.

I got charged £36 for the oring kit and £11 for the washer kit !!

Robbing get's, they are getting called out now for a one off fix for the Land Lord, Worcesters are a big load of crap if you ask me

i thought £37 for that brush they do for servicing their greenstars was funny

theres a plastic clip needed when changing a diverter valve on an old turbo max (the one with the green knobs), it doesnt come with the diverter but you always need it because the old one always breaks when you take it off,
a new clips costs £5, but heres the rub, vailliant are going to discontinue the clip but not the diverter valve
