Does anyone knoe how you are meant to get and analyser sprint v2 into the test point of the worcestre . I breifly looked at it today and when you take the combustion cap of at the top left of the boiler there is a hole about 4mm. Obviously the probe wont fit in . Is there an adaptor . Or am I missing something. I also would cant get access to the flue externally due to the height 10 meters.

If its the one I'm thinking of (red cap on top left and the front), you take the probe off and put your hose strait onto the test point.

As above or attach a tube from the end of your probe to the sample point! Isar's are the same!

I cant take the probe of the v2 so I will just attach the tube to the end of the probe then to the combustion test point on the boiler . Althought diamond gas the tube is a tight fit around the end of the probe will this still give an accurate readings. I assume it does if you suggested it .

Not familiar with the v2 I have a testo ... it has a through hole at the end of the probe and slots at the sides where the thermocouple sensor is. I place the tube over the lot... does that make sense?

Yeah the v2 probe is the same . It just seems dodgy when manufacturers usally want the probe in the center of the flue gases. This is obviously how it is supposed to work takeing in the size of tests point on this boiler they give you to work with.

I was just concerned you woulnt get a proper reading at the thermocouple because it has tight rubber round it when you carry out the test this way . Do I make sense. I am pritty new gas enginneer and eager to learn

Well there will be a cooling effect depending on the length of tube too yeh, but the products of combustion are what your wanting to find out the most about yeh? they aren't diluted if you cover the whole of the holes at the end of your probe ... that's my understanding anyways 🙂

Ive got the V2 and thats exactly how I do it as Diamondgas described. as long as you get a decent fit between hose and probe you will get accurate enough readings.
