Without looking it up don't have a clue sorry , why new flue?

Although it's not leaking (tested it), the builders gaffer-taped the elbow joint, all screws were missing (which I replaced) - I just don't trust it. Plus Worcester said the blockage could be at the flue rather than condense trap so was gonna take the internal flue apart to inspect/clean and while I was at it replace the flue.

Fair enough, Replace the flue don't even bother taking it out and inspecting it

Unlikely the flue is blocked / restricted tho

Ah ok.. don't want to create work if it's unnecessary! I'll service it with new burner gasket and electrodes and see what happens.

Cheers Shaun

Unless you get ppms in air intake or it looks that dodgy tbh depends how it's been installed if it's a quick in and out do it least your sure

When the condense blocks it gets very noisy. You can take the little inspection cover off at the sump and check. If it hasn't been serviced that will may well be blocked up a bit too.

So after servicing the boiler yesterday and leaving it in good order, I get a text today saying same thing has happened. Shoot over there as only round the corner and wanted to make sure it wasn't my work that caused the fault.. I investigate the condense run and find that the builders have connected the run with a flexi hose underneath the cabinets and run it back up to a inch and half tee.. tut tut. Got me another job out of it though to rerun the condense 🙂 sweet - cut the existing pipe and run it into a bucket for temp repair!
