As title but of background

Called out to boiler seized pump, split seals and air vent spewing out gunk....

Changed pump and body....

Pump starts, fan starts, ignition sequence - fires.... Within seconds overheats and starts sizzling and banging in main heat ex....

Now this cust is skint I've helped her out by changing pump....

Dies the main heat ex block up on these ? Or any other ideas ?

You changed the air vent? Might be airlocked if old AAV is crusted up, nowhere to vent to? Is the new pump bled as well?

Yeah changed air vent comes new with pump matey.... Pumps vented... I didn't check for ripples destroyer... But I will how severe are they have you ever seen one ?

If its really rippled you'll be able to see the interal waterways and if its sucked in the water is really dirty clogging up the waterways causing your rippelling

This is a mild case of it happening
