Hi All,
i recently carried out a gas safety on a Worcester R25 HE and all appeared fine. Next morning the customer has stated that the boiler is now running intermittently on heating for about 5 mins then an AE code appears. Reset the boiler and same thing happens. No problems on hot water.
I am a bit confused as it was ok when I left. It does appear to have s faulty pressure gauge. Would it be over filled or not egough water? I am going to change the gauge tomorrow. Any common faults I should be looking for?
thanks

Do you mean EA... Never heard an ae fault.

Could be a few things, blocked condense, electrodes or co2 levels, are a starter checks

Oh right, well 'no flame detected' is the official code...

Check above, plus gas pressures etc or the valve

Did you alter anything?
It can point to a multitude of things on these.

You check the fan pressure?
Hi/Low FGA set up perfectly?
Condi clear?
Gas supply ok?
Electrodes on way out?
