Hey guys, a quick bit of input about an Ri I have to fit!

the old boiler was a prima f, so had the necessary permanent mains (l, n, e) plus pump overrun fed from boiler & the switched live!

the tricky thing is tho, there is only a 5 core cable coming into boiler!

I can only think the last boiler has l, n, e, switched live, pump live, with the pump neutral & earth connected into the wiring centre in airing! That makes up the 5 cores! But can I wire the new ri the same, or will the neutral not going back to the boilers board play havoc?

You dont need the neutral to go back to the boiler, just L N E SL PL

Thanks gasmann, I hope you are correct! Time shall tell...

I was not sure, because I know the new boilers can be temperamental if not wired exact!
