Hi
The job is I need to send a flue for a worcester greenstar 28i junior vertical up past the roof line as there is an extention being built. There will be 2 90degree bends including the bend on top of the boiler and 2 45 degree bends. And the height is about 4 meters. I've worked out that I need to up the size of the flue to 80/125 rather than the standard 100.
As I'm sending 4 meters of white flue up the side of the house I've decided it will look crap. First of all is this do able or have I missed anything and can I get the flue in black so it don't look so ugly. Also can you get 2 meter vertical 80/125 extentions.

Ta

think you will find worcester will say the white coating is not suitable for outdoor use cant you move the boiler?

I thought it would be ok for outside. OK
No , can't move the boiler really. Are there flues that are suitable for outside use?

best to phone worcester up but dont think so am i missing something why does it have to go up 4m externally wheres the extension being built?

you can have some flue outside to overcome certain situations with worcesters. you need to stop water ingress on the terminal.

its normally the plastic flues that cant take UV light.

Ok
Been on the phone to double check this today. Technical have told me that you can now use worcester flues outside as they have changed the enamel coating on the flue. I do however have to up the size of the flue to 125 as it's a long run. They also do not do the 125mm flues in black which will unfortunately make it look rubbish, it can be boxed in though as long as it has access at each joint as usual.

Thanks for all the input
