flexis

The flexi disc (also known as a phonosheet, Sonosheet or Soundsheet, a trademark) is a phonograph record made of a thin, flexible vinyl sheet with a molded-in spiral stylus groove, and is designed to be playable on a normal phonograph turntable. Flexible records were commercially introduced as the Eva-tone Soundsheet in 1962, and were very popular among children and teenagers and mass-produced by the state publisher in the Soviet government.

Hi all, WRAS approved Tap tail's (flexi's) - how do you distinguish the high quality ones from the crap ones. What do you look for? What are the signs? Then - where can I source HQ ones? Good to be back, L.

Flexis on to iso valve or Male Coupler 15mm x ½"

Hey when fitting a tap supplied with flexis with a 1/2 female end. Do people screw them on to a iso valve or a male coupler 15mm x 1/2. I have used iso valves in the past but hear your not meant to as it doesn't have a flat surface for the washer to sit on.

    Weak kitchen mixer tap

Hi, First off I apologise in advance for my complete lack of knowledge, so sorry if anything I ask sounds a bit daft! I had a new kitchen fitted by a local company a few years ago, which included the installation of a new sink unit and tap. Ever since then the water pressure from the tap...

Flexis, why do people do this?

I have seen this done a few times lately, a flexi coming out of a tiled boxing connecting a WC cistern. Nothing wrong with using a good quality flexi if fitted correctly, but this is just wrong.
