Hi there, I wonder if someone can help - I'm replacing an exposed shower valve but the hot water is on the right and the cold water on the left, when you look from the front at the existing unit.

Looks like all valves are the wrong way round for purchasing a new unit, have I got this right, are there any options?

Thanks for any help.

Cheers,

The standard arrangement is that the cold is on the right.

If you want to keep the existing arrangement, you need is a shower with a reversible cartridge. ISTR that Mira does these.

People sometimes install the shower unit upside down, which I think is pretty amateurish, or just fix the pipework so it has the conventional handedness.

Thanks for the info Chuck, will see if I can get one with a reversible cartridge.
