Hi,
I have recently had to replace the taps in my en-suite sink due to a fault.
I’m a novice DIYer but managed to swap them ok but when reusing the existing pipework and fittings it just doesn’t seem like the best configuration so I was thinking of upgrading them but tbh I have no idea best options to go with.

I’ve attached a photo showing the current set up I’m open to any advice and guidance as to what I should replace it with. One thing I would like to add is a shut off valve as I had to turn off water to entire house when changing the taps which was a right pain especially as I took hours longer than most to complete the job 🤡

Config on both taps is identical to the photo

Thanks in advance

Replace the tap adaptors with two Chrome Straight Service Valve 15mm x 1/2"
(one for each tap) and then connect to the elbow with a piece of pipe. If you use plastic pipe don't forget the inserts.
